Matthew adopts a client centred approach to his work and conveys ease, warmth and genuineness, “The Core Conditions”, to all his clients and believes that it is through relationship building of trust and rapport that true healing is possible.
He is a fully qualified Counsellor and Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapist, and has also worked with groups and workshops for many years and brings this valuable experience to his work.
Matthew’s soft and solid presence helps to create a “space” where each individual client may explore their patterns, self-beliefs and behavioural systems in relation to any problems or difficulties they may be experiencing in their daily living. This lends itself to the development of greater self-awareness and opens up the possibility of exploring previously unseen choices (blind spots) and solutions specific to each individual client.
As a way of ensuring continuum of care and on-going professional development he regularly attends seminars and workshops which are related to his profession.
