Discretion and confidentiality are critically important to any professional counselling service. All our staff members sign confidentiality agreements, in addition to adhering to the IACP Code of Ethics. At Cork Counselling, the client’s privacy is paramount. The only people who will know anything about your sessions will be you and your counsellor. All our rooms are sound-proof, and privacy, care and sensitivity are our main focus.
Cork Counselling is located at the Hazelton Clinic, which has been designed to provide a comfortable environment and maintain privacy. The Clinic hosts a variety of medical services, therefore there is no way for a casual observer to determine why an individual visitor is attending.
Child psychologist: counselling and protection of children
Our Child Psychologist Freda Emery works with children and teenagers of all ages, both providing professional assessments and treatment. Our Child Protection Policy regulates the aspects of counselling and psychotherapy for minors.
