When we come to understand that there is equal amounts of positive & negative energies in life can really help us to be mindful that everything flows in a parallel motion. Too much positive & too much negative energy leads to a imbalanced life. Restoring our lives in equal measure.... is life.

Accepting that there is good in every bad situation & there can be bad in good situations too is helpful in understanding life. How we choose to see these outcomes reflects us as people & our life experiences until now.

There will always be good & bad days. There will always be happy & sad times. Good & bad memories. Love & loss. Learning to go with the flow as life experiences rise & subside allows us to appreciate that bad times will pass & good times will come back around again. Allowing our minds to consider this approach can ease the discomfort that comes with negative times in our lives.

"No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again" - Buddha

The New Year symbolises an opportunity for new beginnings. It is important for us to be aware that no matter how difficult life may be, no matter how difficult the past year or years have been there is always hope. Hope for change, hope or calmness in our lives, hope for peace of mind & hope for better & brighter days ahead.

Being mindful that there is always someone to talk to & to help overcome adversities can never be highlighted enough. As we welcome 2017, the turning of a new year & a new beginning, we at The Hazelton Clinic wish peace of mind & heart to all our clients & will endeavour to continue, as always to be here to help anyone who needs our service.

Surviving Christmas with Anxiety

For many Christmas is a wonderful time of year, filled with fun, laughter & joy, but it can be far from a joyous season for others. It is a time of year that has become increasingly overwhelming & demanding, financially, emotionally, & physically.

It can also be a time of sadness or loneliness. Therefore, it is incredibly important to be mindful of ourselves & of others especially at this time of year. Paying attention to our own self care whilst ensuring we don't forget those arounds us can be the the best gift we give to ourselves & to others.

This video specifically highlights the importance of self care at this time of year.

Here at The Hazelton Clinic we are here for you this Christmas season if you need to talk or need help overcoming the festive period.
