Counselling & Psychotherapy
There are times when things can get too difficult to handle. Our lives are full of stress, demands and pressure. If a relationship is in trouble or if depression simply gets too much, not everyone feels comfortable talking to a family member or a friend. But it is so important to find support, and not to leave it until it is too late.
If you are seeking somebody to talk to – call us. We have highly qualified therapists available 7 days a week, and we are here to help.
The Hazelton Clinic offers a variety of services for children of all ages, as well as adults. Our Clinical Psychologists provide both therapy and assessments, including help with behavioural problems, issues at school, learning problems, development & speech issues, overcoming traumatic events, dealing with grief & loss, parenting advice, depression, anger and aggression, suicidal ideation, and all other issues.
The Hazelton Clinic panel includes Dr. Bríd Corkery, who specialises in diagnosis and treatment of adult clients. With over 20 years’ experience as a practicing Psychiatrist in both public and private capacity, she provides expert psychiatric assessments and follow-on care to patients with any issue.
If you are seeking an appointment with Dr. Corkery, it might be helpful to obtain a GP referral. It is not required, however, it will provide the Psychiatrist with valuable background information about any medical aspects that may be connected with the emotional and psychological issues.
